Remote Control Helicopter is my Hobby

Flying remote control helicopters can be a lot of fun but just as with real helicopters, they require practice and a steady hand to master. When purchasing them, it is hard to decide which are the best rc helicopters, because on the one hand, some of them come labeled RTF or ready to fly which is supposed to mean no assembly but usually this is not the case; sometimes they need some tuning up.

The first step in flying a RC helicopter is to read the WHOLE manual before you fly. Make sure all the switches on your radio are in one direction and the throttle is all the way down, before you start your helicopter. Always check the tail screws and other mission critical screws before you fly. Secure the controllers frequency crystal with tape so it does not back out from the vibrations during flight and cause a loss of control. Make sure your throttle linkages are secure and set to idle before starting your engine.

Always hold your blade grips tightly when you start your helicopter. There are a few things that will affect the resonance frequency of your helicopter. The first is Weight and weight placement. Another is the size and length and shape of your helicopter. A third are the RPM's your helicopter is operating with. So if your helicopter shakes badly, and you know your rotors are properly balanced, try adjusting one of these factors.

  1. Your photo very nice photo with helicopters. I like this size and length and shape of your helicopter. To be honest I have more fun flying the indoor ones than the outdoor models.
